POWER WAS STOLEN FROM HER PEOPLE. SHE’LL BURN THE WORLD TO TAKE IT BACK.

Born into captivity on an island poisoned by a ruthless human king, Laena Redan has spent her life fighting to survive.

Her people, the once-powerful Silna, have been drained of their magic and left to wither into shadows of what they once were. With her family depending on her, Laena has done whatever it takes to hold what remains together. But when the poison begins to claim her youngest brother and tighten its grip on her mother, survival is no longer enough.

Desperate, Laena strikes a dangerous bargain with the Webbed – a treacherous creature that smuggles her beyond the island and into the heart of enemy territory. There, something long buried within her begins to stir.

As rebellion ignites and ancient secrets rise to the surface, Laena finds herself caught between vengeance and liberation. Power is within her reach, but it comes at a cost. And the more she embraces it, the more she risks becoming the very thing her people fear.
